EMCAD offers training and facilitation in contemporary topics that support the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and career development. Target beneficiaries are unemployed post-tertiary graduates and employed tertiary graduates seeking to build and advance their careers.

EMCAD is calling for post-tertiary graduates to register for any of the career development courses listed below:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Understanding the UN System, NGO, Private and Public Sectors
  • Volunteerism and Internships
  • Computer skills e.g Excel, SPSS, Power Point, NVivo
  • Starting and Improving Your Business
  • Program Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Proposal and Report Writing

 

Benefits of being an EMCAD trainee:

  • Placement in volunteer jobs and internships in reputable organizations including EMCAD, the UN system, etc. One needs to have completed a minimum number of courses to be placed for internship or volunteer jobs
  • Opportunities for placements as research and technical assistants in development consultancy assignments
  • Free internet, printing facility and a career-oriented library
  • Certificates awarded at the end of each course
